James Karinchak Locks Down Save
4 years agoCleveland Indians relief pitcher James Karinchak locked down his third save of the season in Wednesday night's 5-4 win over the Kansas City Royals. Karinchak threw a perfect ninth inning and struck out two of the three hitters he faced. The back and forth for saves between him and fellow reliever, Emmanuel Clase continues in Cleveland, and both need to be rostered. He will carry a 0.64 ERA and 29 strikeouts across 14 innings pitched into his next appearance.
