Trevor Story Reaches Five Times In Tuesday's Doubleheader
4 years agoColorado Rockies shortstop Trevor Story went a combined 4-for-7 with a double, two RBI, a walk, one run scored, and a stolen base in Tuesday's doubleheader vs. the Giants. Story went 2-for-3 with a walk and a swiped bag, his fourth of the year, in Game 1, which was a 12-4 blowout loss. He hit a clutch two-run double off of Jake McGee in the bottom of the seventh inning, which sparked the Rockies' six-run rally, in Game 2. The 28-year-old shortstop took a little time to get going this season but he's been phenomenal over his last seven games, slashing .400/.516/.840 with two home runs and seven RBI over 25 at-bats. On the year, he's sporting a solid .303/.366/.532 batting line to go along with four home runs, 20 RBI, and four stolen bases across 109 at-bats. He should continue to be a fantasy monster the rest of the way.
