Trevor Rogers Does Okay On Sunday
4 years agoMiami Marlins rookie starting pitcher Trevor Rogers was just okay in Sunday's start against the Washington Nationals. He pitched five innings, allowing three runs on four hits while walking three and striking out six. Rogers still looked good in this one, but he wasn't at his best like he's been in most of his other starts this season. The Marlins offense only scored one run in Max Scherzer's complete game, so Rogers took the loss, lowering his record to 3-2. He'll take a 1.91 ERA into his next start.
