Craig Kimbrel Escapes Trouble For Fifth Save
4 years agoChicago Cubs closer Craig Kimbrel picked up his fifth save of the season in Saturday's victory versus the Cincinnati Reds. Kimbrel gave up back-to-back singles to open the frame, but then recorded back-to-back strikeouts and got a groundout to secure the save. Kimbrel has been off to an impressive start this season and has yet to allow a run in 11 innings. He has also recorded 17 strikeouts with six walks on the season. Kimbrel has looked excellent this season and the potential trade candidate should be rostered in all formats.
