Chase Elliott Possesses Place Differential Chance On Sunday At Kansas
4 years agoChase Elliott's defense of his 2020 Cup Series win has been problematic from the beginning. The Hendrick Motorsports Racing driver struggled to get back on the lead lap last week at Talladega while finishing 24th. Between that and his 12th place finish at Richmond, Elliott starts all the way down in 17th at Kansas on Sunday. That may not be a bad thing as the No. 9 has finished in the top six in four of his last five races on the 1.5-mile track. His average finish since 2018 is 6.17 which ranks higher than Kevin Harvick even. Elliott expects to move up into the top-ten with ease at a minimum.
