Jaguars Kick Off Third Round With Andre Cisco
4 years agoThe Jacksonville Jaguars selected Syracuse safety Andre Cisco with the first pick of the third round (65th overall) of the 2021 NFL draft on Friday night. Cisco is the fifth selection for Jacksonville already in this draft, and he's the second defensive back taken. The Jaguars secondary could surely use the help, as they were one of the worst secondaries in football in 2020. Cisco is a smooth prospect with soft hands, plenty or range and speed in the middle of the field. He's also proven to be a good tackler and has incredible ball skills. Cisco needs some work, but he can also be a great run defender when he's up in the box. A torn ACL in college made him fall into the third round.
