Francisco Lindor Mired In Slump
Francisco Lindor went 0-for-3 with a walk and two strikeouts in the Mets' 1-0 loss to the Red Sox on Wednesday. Lindor, mired in a season-long slump, is now slashing a .203/.317/.261 line, with just one home run and three RBI over 69 at-bats (19 games) on the season. Lindor has had a brutal start to the 2021 campaign and his tenure with the Mets. Despite the poor results, it should be noted that Lindor has shown improvement in his overall strikeout rate and walk rate when compared to 2020. Additionally, his hard-hit rate of 41% is also consistent with the hard-hit rate he posted in 2019 when he belted 32 HR. Lindor's issue has been a poor barrel rate of 1.6% which equates to one barrel so far in 2021 (presumably his one HR). Lindor should eventually get his bat going, though it is beginning to get late with May quickly approaching. Notwithstanding, the 27-year old shortstop should remain active in all fantasy formats.

Francisco Lindor Notches Second Straight Multi-Hit Outing
Francisco Lindor went 3-for-5 with a home run in his team's 7-2 victory against the Chicago Cubs. The superstar switch-hitter singled and scored twice, adding his fifth stolen base of the campaign. Lindor started the scoring for New York with a 388-foot shot off Cubs pitcher Jameson Taillon to lead off the bottom of the first inning. The long ball was his eighth, and second in his last four outings, as he continues to enjoy a fantastic start to 2025. He's up to a .297 average to go along with seven doubles, 26 runs scored, and 25 RBI. If the former first-round pick is set to take off in the summer months as he usually does, he could be in store for a monster season. Friday marked his second straight multi-hit effort and third in his last five.

Francisco Lindor Launches Two Big Flies On Monday
Francisco Lindor had a huge game on Monday, going 2-for-3 with two homers and four RBI in a 5-4 win over the Philadelphia Phillies. Lindor also walked and scored twice to round out his line. After an ice-cold start to his season, the 31-year-old has completely returned to form over the past few weeks. His season numbers look like normal Lindor numbers as well, with a .284 AVG and .840 OPS to go along with 16 runs, five homers, 13 RBI, and two swipes. He is a five-category contributor and one of the best players in fantasy.

Francisco Lindor Collects Three Hits, Homers
Francisco Lindor went 3-for-5 with a home run in the team's 7-4 win over the St. Louis Cardinals on Sunday. He also struck out once and scored thrice. Lindor has typically been a slow starter, but he's wasted no time impacting the field in 2025. The 31-year-old has a hit in 16 of 18 games since starting the season 0-for-11 over New York's first three contests. He's got two homers in his last three appearances and is making consistent hard contact. On Sunday, the former first-round pick logged three hard-hit balls, all registering 102.9 MPH or above. Lindor's spot in the Mets' lineup may limit his RBI totals this season. However, he may make up for it in runs scored -- particularly with teammate Juan Soto heating up and Pete Alonso performing like one of the best hitters in baseball behind him.
