James Karinchak Locks Down Save Tuesday
4 years agoCleveland Indians relief pitcher James Karinchak threw 1 1/3 perfect innings on Tuesday night to record the save in the Indians 7-4 win over the Minnesota Twins. Karinchak struck out two and now has 20 strikeouts across 9 2/3 innings pitched. He was brought in to face the 4-7 hitters of the Twins and this could be a theme moving forward where he is tasked with save opportunities against the heart of orders and Emmanuel Clase faces the lower part of the order. In any event, both are worth having in fantasy as they are the tandem in Cleveland.
