Cincinnati Reds right-hander Tyler Mahle allowed one run over five innings in a 5-3 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers on Monday. Mahle struck out five and walked two in a no-decision. The veteran right-hander has taken a big step forward on the mound this season, posting a 1-1 record, 1.75 ERA, 0.97 WHIP, and 36 strikeouts over 25 2/3 innings of work. He is set to take on the Chicago Cubs next time out and he should remain active in all fantasy formats for that matchup.--Matt T - RotoBaller

Texas Rangers starting pitcher Tyler Mahle had another impressive outing on Sunday, firing seven scoreless frames against the Los Angeles Dodgers in a 1-0 loss. Mahle allowed just two hits while walking three and punching out four. It's been a strange formula for Mahle, who now has a 25:12 K:BB ratio over 26 ⅔ IP, but it's working. The righty has been limiting hits at a ridiculous rate, with only 10 total hits allowed over those innings. He also hasn't given up more than three hits in any of his five outings this year. While regression will likely hit Mahle hard, he is certainly worth rostering in all fantasy formats during his current run.--Matt Garon - RotoBaller

Texas Rangers right-hander Tyler Mahle was dominant in a 4-0 win over the Los Angeles Angels on Tuesday. Mahle threw six shutout innings while allowing two hits, walking three, and striking out nine to improve his record to 3-0 on the season. The veteran hurler was on top of his game in the start, picking up 18 swinging strikes against the Angels. Mahle has been excellent to start the year for the Rangers, posting a 0.92 ERA, 0.86 WHIP, and 21 strikeouts over 19 2/3 innings of work. He will be put to the test in his next start, however, as he is slated to face off against the Los Angeles Dodgers on Sunday.--Matt T - RotoBaller

Texas Rangers right-hander Tyler Mahle had another strong start for the Rangers in Wednesday's 6-2 win over the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field to win his second game of the season. Mahle delivered a quality start for his fantasy managers by allowing only one earned run on two hits while walking one and fanning four in seven innings pitched. Although the strikeout numbers don't really jump off the page, it was an impressive outing on a chilly day in Chicago. The 30-year-old veteran, who made only eight starts combined with the Twins and Rangers the last two years due to injuries, has now pieced together three straight strong starts to begin the year after he gave up only an earned run while walking six and striking out eight in 6 2/3 innings in his first two starts against the Red Sox and Rays. Mahle's next start will come against the Angels, who have gotten off to a surprising 7-3 start.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

Texas Rangers starting pitcher Tyler Mahle tossed five innings of shutout ball in Friday's 5-2 victory over the Rays, allowing just one hit and two walks while striking out five batters on the way to earning his first win of the season. The righty bounced back well after he was unable to get through two innings the last time out, which included walking four batters. The 30-year-old missed most of 2023 and 2024 recovering from Tommy John surgery, but posted a 4.40 ERA (3.87 FIP), 1.22 WHIP, and a 16.5 percent K-BB% during his last full season in 2022. He'll look to keep the momentum going in his next turn through the rotation when he squares off with the Cubs in Chicago.--Jarod Rupp - RotoBaller
