4 years agoCalgary Flames forward Sean Monahan carried his team to a 4-2 victory over the Montreal Canadiens on Friday, recording three points (one goal, two assists) in one of his best performances of the campaign. In addition to his trio of points, Monahan posted a plus-two rating, one shot and three hits in just 15:30 of ice time in the contest. It's been a rough season for the 26-year-old in Calgary in 2020-2021 but Monahan (53% owned in Yahoo! leagues) was able to reward his fantasy owners that have held onto him with the big night on Friday. With 28 points (10 goals, 18 assists), a minus-five rating, 90 shots and 44 hits through 44 games, the Ontario native will look to build some momentum in a final push to earn his team a playoff spot down the stretch.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller
