Ozzie Albies Slugs Homer, Double
4 years agoAtlanta Braves second baseman Ozzie Albies flexed his muscles on Friday during the club's 5-4 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks. He hit his fifth double of the year and cleared the outfield fences for his third home run. The young player is hitting just .177 this season but eight of his 11 hits have now gone for extra bases. Although he's not the biggest player, Albies hit more than 40 doubles and topped 20 home runs two seasons in a row between 2018-19. With four hits — including three for extra bases — in his past four games, he's quite possibly breaking out of his early-season slump. With two more games against Arizona's struggling pitching staff, Albies remains a solid bet in DFS leagues over the next few days.
