Logan Allen Struggles Again Friday Night
Logan Allen gave up four earned runs on five hits and one walk across just 2 1/3 innings pitched in Friday night's 5-3 loss to the New York Yankees. It was another tough night for Allen as he has increased his ERA to a disappointing 6.28 on the season. He does not hold much fantasy value moving forward and could be a possible candidate to be replaced in the Tribe's rotation if he does not start to figure things out in a hurry.

Logan Allen Being Skipped In Rotation
Nick Sandlin in their game on Wednesday against the Kansas City Royals, while left-hander Logan Allen will be available out of the bullpen. Right-hander Tanner Bibee will start on Thursday in the series finale against KC. Sandlin, who has never started a game in four years in the big leagues, will be an opener and won't really be in play in fantasy as a streamer. The 27-year-old has pitched well this year out of the bullpen, though, sporting a 2.77 ERA and 0.77 WHIP with a save and 29 strikeouts in 26 innings of work. It makes sense why the Guardians wouldn't want to roll out Allen against their division rivals. In his last outing against the Colorado Rockies, the 25-year-old southpaw allowed seven earned runs in just 1 2/3 innings to raise his season ERA to 5.83 in 12 starts.

Logan Allen Will Make Second Start Sunday
Logan Allen is the probable starter for Sunday's game against the Boston Red Sox. The young lefty threw a gem in his MLB debut, allowing six baserunners over six innings and striking out eight Marlins. As long as he has a place in the rotation, he should be started by fantasy managers. He has great strikeout stuff, as evidenced by his 34.5% strikeout rate in Triple-A this season.

Logan Allen K's Eight In Debut
Logan Allen made an impression in his first MLB start on Sunday. Allen allowed one run on five hits over six innings while striking out eight and walking one in a 7-4 win over the Miami Marlins. He earned the win while becoming one of just six Cleveland pitchers to record at least eight strikeouts in his first MLB start. Allen is ranked as Cleveland's No. 8 prospect and posted a 34.5% strikeout rate in Triple-A Columbus this season. He continued to miss bats in the big leagues, notching an impressive 17 swinging strikes in his debut. Allen is set to make his second start on Tuesday, May 2 against the New York Yankees. Fantasy gamers should be looking to add Allen off of waivers where he is available.

Logan Allen Expected To Make MLB Debut Sunday
Logan Allen to be called up from the minor leagues in order to start on Sunday at home against the Miami Marlins. Allen, 24, will be making his major-league debut this weekend after starting the year with a strong 1.26 ERA and 20 strikeouts in 14 1/3 innings over his first three starts at Triple-A Columbus. The team's No. 8 prospect, per MLB Pipeline, could stick in Cleveland's starting rotation with Triston McKenzie (shoulder), Aaron Civale (oblique) and Cal Quantrill (leg) all injured. Allen doesn't dazzle with stuff or physicality (6-foot, 190 pounds), but he's durable, physical and accurate around the zone. Fantasy managers in need of rotation help should consider adding him.
