4 years agoMiami Marlins third baseman Brian Anderson was placed on the 10-day injured list prior to Thursday's game due to an oblique strain. There's no word on the severity of the strain, but oblique injuries can sometimes take quite a while to heal. According to manager Don Mattingly, Jon Berti will be the primary starter at third base while Anderson is out. Anderson was off to a slow start but was just beginning to show signs of breaking out.
