Jose Berrios Has Strong Outing Despite Loss
4 years agoMinnesota Twins starting pitcher Jose Berrios bounced back from a rough outing in his last time out. Berrios pitched five innings of one-run ball, allowing four hits and a walk while striking out five hitters. The two-time All-Star did a good job of keeping runs off the board, though unfortunately for him, Athletics pitcher Jesus Luzardo was just a little better, resulting in Berrios' second loss of the season. The silver lining here for Berrios' fantasy managers is that if he continues to pitch like this, he'll surely rack up some wins, as the Twins' bats won't stay quiet for long. Berrios gets an excellent matchup on April 25 against the Pirates, who rank 20th in the majors in strikeout rate.
