Liam Hendriks Picks Up Second Save
4 years agoChicago White Sox closer Liam Hendriks picked up his second save of the season with a scoreless inning in Game 1 of Sunday's doubleheader versus the Boston Red Sox. Hendriks allowed one hit and struck out one. The White Sox big free agent signing this offseason got off to a rough start with three runs given up in his first three outings, but has now thrown three straight scoreless innings. Hendriks has been one of the best closers over the past few seasons and he should continue to be one of the best closer options for managers. He now owns a 4.26 ERA with nine strikeouts, one walk and two saves.
