Max Scherzer Strikes Out 10 In No Decision Friday
4 years agoWashington Nationals starting pitcher Max Scherzer struck out 10 batters over seven scoreless innings on Friday, but did not factor into the decision in a 1-0 Nationals victory. Scherzer allowed two hits and two walks against the Diamondbacks, as he remains winless through his first three starts. He now has a 2.37 ERA with 24 strikeouts in 19 innings, and with Friday's performance he officially passed Cy Young on the career strikeouts leaderboard. The wins will come to Scherzer soon, and he is still one of the top-tier fantasy pitchers.
