4 years agoWashington Capitals netminder Ilya Samsonov has been listed as "day-to-day" with an upper-body injury and will not be available as his team hosts the Buffalo Sabres on Thursday. The 24-year-old put together a sparkling performance in Tuesday's victory over the Flyers - turning aside 29 of 30 shots against in the contest. Samsonov has produced a 10-3-1 record to go along with a 2.83 goals-against average and a .899 save percentage in 15 appearances in 2020-2021.
