4 years agoMinnesota Twins third baseman Josh Donaldson made his return to the lineup for the nightcap of Wednesday's doubleheader. Donaldson went 1-for-2 at the plate, walking once and scoring a run in the 7-1 loss. The 34-year-old answered any questions about the condition of his hamstring immediately. He singled in his first at-bat, went from first to third on a Nelson Cruz base hit, and then scored on a Kyle Garlick sacrifice fly, impressively showing the team that he's healthy. Donaldson is likely to be eased back into the action, which might cause some fantasy managers to grumble a bit, though it ultimately could be the best thing for his fantasy value long-term.--Tim Capurso
