Lorenzo Cain Exits Early With Quad Issue
4 years agoMilwaukee Brewers outfielder Lorenzo Cain (quad) was removed in the top of the third inning due to left quad discomfort, according to Adam McCalvy of MLB.com. Cain appeared to injure himself while running out a ground out in the first inning, and he was seen limping back to the dugout after stepping on the base awkwardly. He remained in the game until the top of the third, when he was replaced defensively by Billy McKinney. Cain had dealt with a quad issue during Spring Training, but that issue was with his right quad instead.
