4 years agoBoston Red Sox designated hitter J.D. Martinez was back in the lineup on Sunday after missing one game due to COVID protocols. He made his presence felt in a big way as the Red Sox capped off a three-game sweep of the Baltimore Orioles. Martinez went 4-for-6 in the game, hitting three home runs while tallying four RBI and four runs. He now has five home runs and a ridiculous 1.083 slugging percentage through eight games on the year. Martinez disappointed fantasy managers last year, leading to a discounted price in drafts this year.
