Dallas Stars goaltender Anton Khudobin will guard the cage against Calgary on Thursday. The veteran netminder will get only his third start of the campaign, with Braden Holtby coming in and starting his career in Texas in impressive form. However, Holtby has now gone a bit cold in recent outings, and it will give Khudobin a chance to maybe battle back for the No. 1 spot. The 35-year-old had a decent year in 2020-21 with three shutouts, a 2.54 goals-against average and a .905 save percentage, but he ended up getting only 12 wins in 32 appearances. Finding a winning formula against Jacob Markstrom and the Flames definitely won't be easy.

Dallas Stars goaltender Anton Khudobin will record his second start of the season in Wednesday's matchup versus the Golden Knights. He produced 24 saves in his first start last Sunday in a 3-2 loss to Ottawa. Khudobin also has one relief appearance to his name this season, which was a winning effort against the Rangers. The Russian veteran has registered a 2.49 goals-against average for the season with a .909 save percentage. He's been outplayed by Braden Holtby early in the campaign, but Wednesday's outing gives him a great opportunity to pick up his second win of the season. Vegas is battling with injuries and has gone just 2-4-0 so far.

Dallas Stars goaltender Anton Khudobin will make his first start of the season in Sunday's road outing against the Senators. Braden Holtby has started the first two games of the season, but Khudobin actually has seen a bit of action after replacing Holtby in the season opener against the Rangers. The Russian veteran saved all six shots he faced in 13:31. Khudobin had a real rollercoaster ride last season in Texas, blowing hot and cold throughout the season. He finished with a 12-11-7 record and posted a 2.54 goals-against average with a .905 save percentage and three shutouts. It's a decent matchup for him on Sunday, although John Klingberg's (lower body) continued absence could complicate things.
