Justin Fields To Throw Again On April 14
4 years agoOhio State quarterback Justin Fields will throw for NFL teams again on April 14, with San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan and general manager John Lynch expected to attend. Both Shanahan and Lynch watched quarterback Mac Jones and others at Alabama's Pro Day while Fields was working out at his school's Pro Day on the same day. The Jaguars are expect to take Clemson's Trevor Lawrence first overall and the Jets are expected to draft BYU's Zach Wilson at No. 2, which could leave the 49ers with Fields at No. 3 overall in this year's draft. Fields is extremely talented, mobile and athletic under center and also has the required arm strength. While he has a lot of room to grow, Fields' fantasy and real-life ceiling would be sky-high if he lands with Shanahan in San Francisco.
