Chicago White Sox left fielder Andrew Vaughn will rest on Wednesday versus the Seattle Mariners. Vaughn has started four of the White Sox first six games, but is just 1-for-11 with two runs scored and a RBI. Vaughn is one of the top power hitting prospects in the game and also is a very good contact hitter. Despite the slow start and small sample size, managers should remain patient for now. Vaughn will be replaced by Billy Hamilton on Wednesday. Hamilton will bat eighth and his speed could make him an intriguing cheap option in DFS against Justin Dunn.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller

Chicago White Sox first baseman Andrew Vaughn was the lone bright spot for his team in a 12-3 loss to the Athletics on Tuesday. Vaughn went 1-for-4 with a three-run homer to drive in the only runs of the game for his team in the loss. The veteran first baseman has been off to a slow start in 2025, hitting just .123 with two homers, three runs, and eight RBI across 57 at-bats. Vaughn should bounce back as he combined to hit 40 homers and drive in 150 runs over his past two seasons, although a poor White Sox team around him may hinder him.--Matt T - RotoBaller

Chicago White Sox first baseman Andrew Vaughn is off to a slow start in 2025. Vaughn is slashing .125/.205/.250 (5-for-40) with one home run, two runs scored, and 5 RBI in the teams' first 11 games. Over the past two seasons, Vaughn has hit .258 and .246, respectively, so fantasy managers can expect some progression on the horizon, although, at this point, he can be dropped in most 10 to 12-person leagues if someone on the waiver wire is worth picking up. After the loss on Thursday to the Cleveland Guardians, the White Sox have struggled to a 2-10 start to the season, picking up where they left off in 2024 with 121 losses. On Friday, Vaughn and the White Sox will try to get going as they start a three-game series against the Boston Red Sox.--Nicho Roessler - RotoBaller

Chicago White Sox outfielder Luis Robert and first baseman Andrew Vaughn are both out of the starting lineup on Monday against the Baltimore Orioles at Camden Yards. It appears to be a normal day of rest for both players to start a new week. Robert had started each of the team's last seven games. Zach DeLoach is drawing into the White Sox's lineup in right field and will bat sixth, while Gavin Sheets will handle first base and will bat cleanup against Orioles right-hander Corbin Burnes. Corey Julks is serving as the designated hitter and will bat in the two-hole. Sheets is probably the most attractive DFS sleeper for his power, but he hasn't recorded a hit in six career at-bats against Burnes. Robert has an attractive power/speed combination for fantasy managers (14 homers and 21 steals), but he's hitting just .219 (68-for-311) on the year and is on the worst team in baseball.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

Chicago White Sox first baseman Andrew Vaughn (illness) is back in the starting lineup ahead of Sunday's game against the Minnesota Twins. The 26-year-old was scratched ahead of Saturday's game due to an illness. Luckily it was a minor issue as Vaughn will play first base and bat cleanup against righty Simeon Woods Richardson. Fantasy managers who have Vaughn rostered can get him back in the lineup ahead of first pitch.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
