4 years agoNew Jersey Devils winger Jesper Bratt continued his good run of form with a two-point effort in Tuesday's 5-3 loss to Buffalo. He notched a power-play goal and registered an assist on a Pavel Zacha marker. Zacha also finished with two points. Bratt had a six-game point streak last month, and he's been nullified just twice in his past 12 outings. The Swedish speedster is up to five goals and 21 points for the season in 31 games. Despite his hot hands, Bratt is still floating around the waiver wire in most fantasy leagues. He has three more games to come this week, starting with Thursday's rematch against Buffalo.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

4 months agoNew Jersey Devils winger Jesper Bratt rocked the Panthers with a hat trick in Thursday's 6-2 win. He became only the third player in Devils history to record an even-strength, power-play, and short-handed goal in the same game. Bratt enjoyed a fruitful October but has even turned it up a notch this month. He has registered four multi-point games in his last six appearances, reaching 24 points for the season. With 20 games played, Bratt has produced eight goals and 16 points. Jack Hughes and Nico Hischier tend to grab the headlines on most nights with the Devils, but Bratt is currently the team's leading scorer, with only seven players ahead of him on the league's scoring charts.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

4 months agoNew Jersey Devils winger Jesper Bratt recorded two points as the team defeated the Edmonton Oilers 3-0 on Monday. Stefan Noesen scored early in the game off assists by Bratt and Paul Cotter, and the Swedish forward himself was on target late in the second in a power-play situation. Bratt became a point-per-game player last season and has carried that form into the new campaign. With 15 games played, Bratt sits on three goals and 12 assists. The opposition has held him off the score sheet just three times all season. A favorable set of games against Montreal, the Islanders, and San Jose positions Bratt well to keep up his form throughout the week.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

11 months agoNew Jersey Devils winger Jesper Bratt scored his 24th goal of the campaign in Friday's 5-2 loss against Buffalo to extend his point streak to four games. Bratt gave New Jersey a two-goal lead in the first period, but Buffalo found a way to turn the game on its head. The Swedish winger has been back in form lately after having a tough start to the month. He matched his career high with 73 points on Friday and will get his first opportunity to set a new scoring record in Tuesday's matchup against Pittsburgh. Bratt has totaled 24 goals and 49 assists in 74 games.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

1 year agoNew Jersey Devils winger Jesper Bratt had a great game against Calgary on Thursday despite the team suffering a 5-3 defeat. The Swedish speedster was involved in all three goals for the Devils, posting assists as Ondrej Palat scored twice and Nico Hischier recorded a short-handed goal. It was Bratt's seventh effort of the season with at least three points. He became the fifth skater in franchise history to have five three-assist games in a single season. The 25-year-old has totaled 35 assists overall, adding 20 goals in 49 games. Only nine players in the league have recorded as many goals and assists in 2023-24.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
