Rodney Hudson Receives Extension From Cardinals
4 years agoThe Arizona Cardinals gave new center Rodney Hudson a new contract extension when he was acquired from the Las Vegas Raiders, according to a source. He'll receive a three-year, $30 million contract. Hudson had $9.9 million on the books and he adds two years and $20.1 million with $16 million in total guarantees. He had just $3.5 million fully guaranteed with his old deal, and now he'll get $10.9 million fully guaranteed. The deal also includes two voidable years for salary cap purposes. The All-Pro center will be a huge boost for quarterback Kyler Murray and the team's running game in 2021 and beyond. Hudson will lead Arizona's offensive line as both a road grader and a pass protector.
