The Carolina Panthers signed free-agent offensive lineman Martez Ivey to an undisclosed one-year deal on Tuesday, according to his agents, Robert Bailey and Drew Rosenhaus. Ivey was an undrafted free agent out of the University of Florida in 2019 and signed with the New England Patriots. However, he was cut before the start of that season and went on to play for the Tampa Bay Vipers of the XFL in early 2020 before the league went bankrupt. Ivey did not sign with another team for the 2020 NFL season. He took part in Florida's Pro Day recently, where he caught the eye of the Panthers. Ivey will provide offensive line depth but won't be a lock to make the final roster out of training camp.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
