4 years agoCleveland Indians infielder Andres Gimenez is not in the lineup for Monday's game against the Royals. This will be his second straight game on the bench- and second straight start for Ahmed Rosario at short- against a left-handed pitcher. It's worth noting that Gimenez did start against a southpaw on Opening Day, so while it doesn't appear to be an even lefty/righty platoon split with Rosario, the former is also not the locked-in starter that fantasy managers perhaps hoped he would be.--Tim Capurso
