Aaron Gordon Scores 24 Points On Efficient Shooting
4 years agoDenver Nuggets forward Aaron Gordon got revenge against his old team in Sunday's win over the Magic. Gordon netted a game-high 24 points on 10-for-13 shooting from the field, adding seven boards, two assists, a pair of blocks, and a three-pointer in 35 minutes. It's the most points that Gordon has scored in Nuggets' threads- and just the third time he's shot 70 percent or better on a minimum of 10 field-goal attempts this season. Denver has yet to lose since inserting the 25-year-old into the starting lineup, as they've allowed an average of 100 points per game over their last four contests, their defense perhaps buoyed by his 1.3 steals and 1.0 blocks per contest in that span. Gordon has a great matchup coming up on Tuesday against the Pistons, who have allowed the third-most FanDuel points to power forwards.
