9-Category Leagues Waiver Wire

Columns are written based on H2H 9-category standard size leagues:

Kevin Love, PF/C - Cleveland Cavaliers

66% rostered - Long periods of absence caused by injuries had led people to start dropping Kevin Love. Sure, a healthy Love is a walking double-double, but there was serious doubt we'd see anything close to a 100 percent Love at any point the rest of the way.

But, he's back in the lineup for now. Just two games and 21.5 minutes of playing time per contest, but the signs are there. He's taking seven shots per game from deep. He's averaged 11.5 points. He has one double-double. Love's still a talented player -- arguably the most talented frontcourt piece in Cleveland -- and if he can keep playing the 20 minutes per game he has in his first two games back, he'll contribute some valuable stuff in fantasy.

Tomas Satoransky, PG/SG - Chicago Bulls

30% rostered - A Coby White neck injury has opened up more minutes for Satoransky. Over the last four games, he's averaging 29.2 minutes per contest, scoring 13 points per night to go along with 7.5 assists, 3.0 rebounds, and 1.5 steals on a 56.8/46.2/100 shooting split. The assist numbers in particular are what pop out to me, because it's not too often you can get a lot of assists off the waiver wire in April.

Jalen Brunson, PG/SG - Dallas Mavericks

25% rostered - Even coming off the bench most of the time, Jalen Brunson is getting a huge number of minutes each game, which is leading to some strong production for the third-year player.

He's scored at least 10 points in six of the past seven games, topping the 20-point mark twice in that span. In addition, over those seven games, Brunson has shot 57.5 percent from the floor and is making 0.7 threes per game while also adding in 4.4 rebounds and 4.1 assists. He's not going to provide elite production in any particular area, but what Brunson does bring to the court is some well-rounded numbers that can help boost your fantasy team's floor.

James Johnson, PF/C - New Orleans Pelicans

17% rostered - The Pelicans have their best two players out right now, and while they should return soon, Johnson has to be in your lineup until Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram are back on the court.

Why? Just look at the numbers. Over the last three games, Johnson has averaged 17 points, 4.7 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 1.3 steals, 2.3 blocks, and 2.3 threes per contest. And yes, this is the same James Johnson that you're thinking about when you hear the name James Johnson. Given minutes and opportunities, he's playing some incredibly productive basketball. It probably won't last, but grab him while you can.

Reggie Bullock, SG/SF - New York Knicks

9% rostered - Looking for threes? Bullock has 12 of them over his past three games and against Detroit exploded for 22 poits and five rebounds while draining six threes and shooting 66.7 percent from the floor. He's getting consistent minutes for the Knicks; as long as that keeps happening, his fantasy value is going to be a LOT higher than people think it will be. Bullock only being rostered in nine percent of leagues right now feels like a misprint.

Malachi Flynn, PG - Toronto Raptors

8% rostered - A foot injury will keep Kyle Lowry out for the next week or more, while Fred VanVleet suffered a hip injury last game. That means some big minutes for Flynn might be coming up. He played 31 minutes against Golden State, scoring 16 points and adding in five rebounds, five assists, and two steals. While I'm not sure I'm sold on Flynn as a player long term, he's going to get all the minutes he can handle in the short term, and has games against Washington and Cleveland during the time that Lowry will likely be out.

Kenrich Williams, SF/PF - Oklahoma City Thunder

8% rostered - Welcome back to OKC, where there's been an unending number of players this year who've I've thought "yeah, I could add him in fantasy" this season. Right now, that player is Kenrich Williams.

He's played 20-plus minutes in the last five games, and the one before that he just barely missed with 19. He's scored in double figures in six of the last seven games. He's shooting 55.6 percent from three and 57.6 percent overall in that span, averaging 11.6 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game. His current efficiency can really help your fantasy team as you prepare for the fantasy playoffs. (The team also just waived Justin Jackson, so there's some more potential minutes for Williams.)
