Ramon Laureano Leaves Game Early With Wrist Injury
4 years agoOakland Athletics outfielder Ramon Laureano (wrist) left Friday's game early after jamming his left wrist while diving into first base, according to Martin Gallegos of MLB.com. Laureano injured himself while trying to beat out a ground out to the pitcher, and while he went back out on defense in the top of the seventh inning, he was replaced by a pinch hitter in the bottom of the inning. Gallegos reports that X-rays were negative, but it's unclear how long Laureano could be out with this issue. Managers should replace him in the lineup, but hopefully it won't end up a long-term injury.
