4 years agoMemphis Grizzlies center Jonas Valanciunas needed only 22 minutes of action to net his ninth consecutive double-double on Friday, finishing a 120-108 win over Minnesota with 19 points and 11 rebounds. He made his only three-pointer and shot 7-for-14 from the field. It was a real team effort by the Grizzlies, who had eight players scoring in double figures. With the T-Wolves struggling against bigs all season, this was always going to be a nice matchup for Valanciunas. The next few promise to be much tougher as Memphis starts a four-game road trip that has stops in Philadelphia, Miami, Atlanta and New York.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
