Carlos Carrasco Rehabbing Well From Torn Hamstring
4 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Carlos Carrasco (hamstring) is advancing quickly through his rehab, and could possibly be ahead of schedule, according to MLB.com's Anthony DiComo. Carrasco is working his way back from a torn right hamstring, and earlier this week he threw a live bullpen session that went "really, really well," according to manager Luis Rojas. Rojas added that they are still taking a "week-to-week" approach with Carrasco, but signs point to a return sooner than later. Coming off a strong 2020 campaign where he posted a 2.91 ERA and a 29.3 percent strikeout rate in 68 innings, Carrasco looks poised to have another good year in his first stint in the NL East.
