Alex Bregman Goes Yard In Astros Romp
4 years agoHouston Astros third baseman Alex Bregman went 2-for-4, with a solo home run, in the Astros 8-1 throttling of the A's on Opening Day. Bregman battled a hamstring injury during the spring but looked ready to roll. The third baseman picked up an RBI early in the game with a groundout and then popped a 418-foot bomb to left field for his first home run of the season. When Bregman is on his offensive game, he is a top-five MVP candidate. This performance is a great first step in a long season ahead.
