Russell Westbrook Makes History With Monster Line
4 years agoWashington Wizards guard Russell Westbrook had a historic night in a 132-124 win over the Pacers on Monday. Westbrook scored 35 points with 21 assists and 14 rebounds- his 16th triple-double in a Wizards uniform- the most in franchise history. The 32-year-old added four triples, two steals, and a block in 39 minutes. With Bradley Beal (hip) sidelined, the onus fell to Westbrook, and he responded with a game for the ages, as he became just the third player in league history with a 30-20-10 line, joining Magic Johnson and Oscar Robertson. It's his second straight triple-double and sixth in March, with a matchup against the Hornets coming up on Tuesday. Westbrook had a quiet game against them in his first outing, though the contest was a blowout. He can be trusted for DFS this time around, as he's rolling coming into this one.
