Jose Urquidy To Start Season In Rotation
4 years agoHouston Astros pitcher Jose Urquidy is ready to open the season in the starting rotation. Urquidy made a strong impression last season, posting a 1.01 WHIP and a 2.73 ERA through five starts during the shortened season. The 25-year-old now hopes to put a full season together for an Astros team that is looking to compete. Urquidy has enjoyed a solid spring, striking out 10 hitters while walking only one through 13 innings pitched. Urquidy could provide some reasonable value in the later rounds of upcoming drafts.
