4 years agoColumbus Blue Jackets goaltender Joonas Korpisalo will be sidelined on Saturday afternoon as his team takes on the Detroit Red Wings. The 26-year-old is currently dealing with a lower-body injury and has been labeled as day-to-day. Korpisalo last played in the Jackets' overtime loss on Thursday in which he turned aside 29 of 33 shots against. The Finnish netminder has a 8-10-6 record to go along with a 3.02 goals-against average and a .899 save percentage in 25 appearances in 2020-2021. Elvis Merzlikins (48% owned in Yahoo! leagues) will start in his place on Saturday. --Chase Davis - RotoBaller
