Jazz Chisholm Steals Three Bases On Thursday
4 years agoMiami Marlins infielder Jazz Chisholm played well in a Grapefruit League game against the Washington Nationals on Thursday. Jazz got the start at second base in the leadoff spot in the batting order. He went 1-for-1 with two walks and two runs scored. He stole three bases as well. Jazz is now hitting .273 with an .897 OPS and has clearly won the second base starting job as long as it was actually a fair competition. While Chisholm has been playing well, his main competition, Isan Diaz, has looked like he's never played baseball before in his life (he's hitting .069 and playing questionable defense.) As long as Jazz wins the starting job, he could be a strong fantasy option in the late rounds of most league's drafts.
