Frankie Montas Leaves Start Early With Finger Injury
4 years agoOakland Athletics starting pitcher Frankie Montas (finger) left his start early on Thursday with a ripped cuticle on his right middle finger, Shayna Rubin of the Mercury News reports. It was a rough outing for Montas before his exit, as he allowed four runs on three hits and three walks while striking out two in two innings against the Mariners. It's doubtful that this injury would keep him out for long, but managers should continue to monitor updates on his injury in case it knocks him out for a start.
