Daniel Castano Allows Three Runs In Tuesday's Start
4 years agoMiami Marlins pitcher Daniel Castano got the start in Tuesday's Grapefruit League game against the New York Mets. Castano pitched 3 2/3 innings, allowing three runs on five hits while striking out six. He didn't give up any walks, throwing 66 pitches, 47 for strikes. Castano will almost certainly start the season either in the bullpen or in the Triple-A rotation, but he showed he could be a serviceable big league pitcher last season. He gives the Marlins some good swingman depth but won't be much of an option in fantasy formats.
