Corey Seager Belts Sixth Cactus League Home Run Sunday
4 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers shortstop Corey Seager continued his monstrous spring performance on Sunday. Seager went 1-for-2 with a home run, his major-league-leading sixth of the spring, in a 10-4 loss to the Giants. The 26-year-old is picking up right where he left off after last year's strong regular and postseason performance- as he is seeing the baseball really well right now. Seager posted career-best numbers in barrel rate, exit velocity, expected batting average and slugging percentage, and hard-hit percentage, seemingly backing up the strong numbers he put up. As a result, he won't come cheap in drafts- 34 ADP- though fantasy managers can reasonably expect 30-plus homers, 80-plus runs and RBI, and a good batting average to boot, provided he stays healthy.
