Trevor Rogers Throws Five Good Innings On Sunday
4 years agoMiami Marlins rookie starting pitcher Trevor Rogers pitched very well in Sunday's Grapefruit League game against the Houston Astros. He tossed five innings, allowing two runs on two hits and a walk while striking out six. Rogers threw 71 pitches, 52 for strikes. With this strong performance, Rogers seems very much on track to win the fifth spot in the Marlins starting rotation, and some Marlins beat writers are reporting that he looks even better in person. He's basically free in redraft leagues right now and could be a surprisingly valuable starter if he stays healthy.
