Jamal Murray's Huge Second Half Powers Nuggets To Victory
4 years agoDenver Nuggets guard Jamal Murray had just three points at the break, but a monster second-half effort helped lead his team to an overtime victory. Murray scored 34 points with six triples, five assists, four steals, and two rebounds. The 24-year-old drained a huge three in the corner at the end of regulation to force overtime. Murray did have a season-high seven turnovers but can be forgiven considering how well he played after his slow start to the contest. Murray has a fantastic matchup coming up on Sunday against the Pelicans. They've allowed the second-most FanDuel points to point guards, making Murray one of the better plays on the slate coming off of this performance.
