Cowboys Sign Malik Turner
4 years agoThe Dallas Cowboys re-signed wide receiver Malik Turner to an undisclosed one-year deal on Friday. The 25-year-old was active for six games on special teams last year and recorded two tackles in the process. Turner was a core special teams player for the Seattle Seahawks from 2018-19 before he joined the Cowboys last September off waivers from the Green Bay Packers. The Cowboys also waived center Marcus Henry, tight end Cole Hikutini, wide receiver Jon'Vea Johnson and wide receiver Chris Lacy on Friday. In three NFL seasons, Turner has just 17 receptions on 25 targets for 265 yards and one touchdown in 27 games (three starts), so don't look for him to have a role for Dallas in 2021.
