4 years agoThe New Orleans Saints re-signed safety P.J. Williams to a one-year deal worth $2.3 million fully guaranteed, according to a source. Williams was taken by the Saints in the third round of the 2015 draft and has spent his entire career in New Orleans. He played in 15 games (three starts) last season, seeing action on 499 defensive snaps (almost 50 percent of the plays), adding another 111 snaps on special teams. The 27-year-old was able to record 40 tackles, one interception, two pass breakups and two fumble recoveries in 2020. Williams has 191 career tackles, five interceptions and 26 pass breakups in 62 games (26 starts) for the Saints in his career.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
