Anthony Walker Signs One-Year Deal With Cleveland
4 years agoFormer Indianapolis Colts linebacker Anthony Walker signed a one-year, $3.5 million deal with the Cleveland Browns on Friday, according to his agent, Drew Rosenhaus. The Browns brought Walker in for a visit on Thursday. Walker spent his first four seasons with the Colts after being drafted in the fifth round in 2017. The 25-year-old is a solid run-stopper and will likely take over the role that B.J. Goodson had in Cleveland last year as a sub-package run defender. Walker is also a tackling machine, racking up 343 combined tackles (229 solo) in 57 career games (48 starts). In 2020, he had 92 combined tackles (65 solo), one interception, five passes defensed and one fumble recovery in 16 starts.
