Raiders Defense Adds Solomon Thomas, Two Others
4 years agoThe Las Vegas Raiders signed defensive tackle Solomon Thomas to a one-year deal worth up to $5 million, according to source. The team also re-signed defensive tackle Johnathan Hankins to a one-year, $3.5 million fully guaranteed deal. Former Buffalo Bills defensive tackle Quinton Jefferson also was added by the Raiders. Thomas hasn't lived up to his status as the former third overall pick in 2017 and suffered a torn ACL in Week 2 last year and missed the rest of the season. Hankins has started every game and played more than 60 percent of the defensive snaps for the Raiders in the last two seasons. He had 48 tackles and a sack in 2020. Over his five-year career, Jefferson has 10.5 sacks and 35 QB hits with the Seahawks and Bills.
