Montravius Adams Reaches Agreement With Patriots
4 years agoFormer Green Bay Packers defensive end Montravius Adams reached an agreement with the New England Patriots on a one-year deal worth up to $2.5 million on Thursday, according to his agent, Drew Rosenhaus. Adams was the 93rd overall pick in 2017 in the third round and played in 45 games (three starts) in his time with the Packers, recording 44 tackles, 1.5 sacks, four tackles for loss and six QB hits. He missed nine games in his rookie season due to a foot injury and another eight games last year with another foot ailment. Adams played in just 595 total defensive snaps with Green Bay and never played in more than 212 snaps in a season. The Patriots will be looking for Adams to continue his improvement with his run defense.
