Jazz Chisholm Goes Yard On Wednesday
4 years agoMiami Marlins infielder Jazz Chisholm had a second strong start in a row on Wednesday. In a Grapefruit League game against the New York Mets, Jazz got the start at second base and went 1-for-2 with a solo home run and a walk. He had two hits in his previous start as well, boosting his spring batting average to .227 and his OPS to .761. Chisholm is getting hot at the right time, as his main competition, Isan Diaz, hasn't done much of anything this spring. One of the two youngsters is expected to win the starting second base job, although super utility man Jon Berti and his 1.138 OPS may have something to say about that.
