Dolphins Defense Adds Justin Coleman, Adam Butler
4 years agoFormer Detroit Lions cornerback Justin Coleman agreed to terms with the Miami Dolphins on a one-year deal worth up to $2.75 million, according to a source. The Dolphins also signed former New England Patriots defensive tackle Adam Butler to a two-year, $9.5 million deal on Wednesday. The 27-year-old Coleman had 84 tackles, three forced fumbles and one interception in his two years playing for the Lions. Butler has some familiarity with head coach Brian Flores from their time together in New England. He spent his first four seasons with the Patriots and recorded 15 total sacks as an interior defensive lineman. Butler has a high motor and has been reliable, missing only one regular season game in his time with the Patriots.
