Anthony Edwards Stays Hot In Loss To Lakers
4 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards kept up his recent stretch of excellent play in a 137-121 loss to the Lakers on Tuesday. Edwards scored 29 points with four rebounds, three triples, an assist, and a steal in 38 minutes. The rookie has been taking on a huge offensive load over the last seven games, hoisting up 20-plus shot attempts in six of them. Efficiency has been a season-long issue, though it hasn't been over the last four games. Edwards is averaging 27.8 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.5 triples, 2.0 assists, and 1.5 steals per game while shooting 47.6 percent from the field. He'll next get a back-to-back against the Suns, who allowed 24 points and three steals to him in their first meeting.
